           This advert is effective partly because it has struck the right balance between minimalistic and over the top. The name of the artist is is a large font which will immediately capture audience attention. All the key information such as time, date, venue, ticket prices etc is included without overloading the audience with info.
The use of a white background may appear slightly boring to some, but it actually draws more attention to the artist which will create more interest and personalise the advert to relate with the audience.
The contrast of colours included within the text may make the advert more visually appealing, but it gives it a slightly amateur effect which may put a potential audience off.
The diagonal design in the background gives off the idea that the artist is emergent and exciting which may attract the desired target audience.

Redundancy and entropy

Redundancy - Where something is very conventional/normal and matches stereotypes.
Entropy - Something strays from the usual conventions and provokes thought and controversy.


Redundancy and entropy in relation to our music video ...

Our music video will be fairly redundant. Music videos of our genre (hip hop/rap etc) have very similar videos with generic conventions.
